Bowl Bocor? It Is the Liner, Not the Paper

"My bowl leaked, kuah masuk meja!" — heard you. Most kraft bowl leaks come from one of two reasons. Both fixable before you order.

The 2 Reasons Kraft Leaks

(1) Too thin. Craft-store kraft is usually 60–150gsm — for shopping bags, not food. Wet through in 15 minutes.

(2) No barrier coating. Even thick kraft (280gsm+) without a PE / PLA / water-based liner will slowly wick liquid through fiber gaps.

Plain craft-store kraft (150gsm) · 15 min for water only · do not use for food.
Food-grade kraft (280gsm) + PE liner · 4–6 hours for hot kuah · OK for takeaway.
Bagasse pulp + PLA liner · 6–8 hours for oily soup · plastic-free.
Kraft (320gsm) double coating · 8+ hours for curry + gravy · premium tier.
