Packaging-Within-Packaging — Why Tapo Ships Kraft in Kraft

30 December 2025

One thing customers DM us about — "eh Tapo, even your shipping box looks nice ah?" Yes, on purpose. Hannah will explain why.

Why we don't use generic brown cartons

Most kraft suppliers ship in cheap single-wall corrugated boxes — flimsy, often arrive dented after one courier transfer. Inside, the actual product boxes get squashed. Customer opens, sees damaged corners, blames the product. We've all been there. So Tapo ships in double-wall food-grade kraft cartons — same family of paper as the product itself, just heavier.

The test we ran

Before standardising, we mailed 30 trial parcels via three different couriers across Peninsular and East Malaysia. Single-wall = 6 arrived damaged. Double-wall = zero. The cost difference per parcel is around RM 1.20 — but the cost of one unhappy customer review? Way more. Bungkus baik bermula dari luar.
